The American Institute of Commerce was founded in 1937 before changing its name to Quest College. In November 2000, Quest College's name was changed to Kaplan College after Kaplan, Inc. acquired it. Kaplan College changed its name to Kaplan University in September 2004.

Active-Duty Servicemembers

  • Undergraduate program tuition: $165 per quarter credit hour
  • Graduate program tuition: discounted by 15 to 22 percent

Veterans

  • Undergraduate program tuition: $230 per quarter credit hour
  • Graduate programs: assistance through the Yellow Ribbon program. For those who aren’t eligible, Kaplan will reduce tuition by $45.50 to $71 per credit, depending on the program.

Military Spouses Spouses of active-duty servicemembers receive a 10 percent discount on the current undergraduate and graduate tuition rates.
